At last, some decent wind so off I went with my Naish Hybrid Freewave and 5m sail. Nicely powered to start with and then after about 10 minutes it filled in a bit so that I was well-powered and having a good session.

My foot is still a little sore from my recent Forward Loop Crash, but didn't feel too bad as long as I stuffed it right into the footstrap.

I sailed up to the estuary and then across the mouth of the estuary to Graveyards before gybing and sailing all the way into Borth to check out the new coastal defence scheme from the vantage point of the sea. Some of the rock groynes look a little imposing even from this side, especially with the wave crashing against them.

Tom then came out to join me, but the wind eased off a little so after a few more attempts I packed up and headed home to warm up. Tom was changing to a bigger sail as I left, but the wind filled in again pretty soon so he may have stuck with his 5.5m.
